You may request account deletion from the Hojuen app or from your account settings on the website. After you request deletion, we send a confirmation link to your registered email address. Your account is deleted only after you confirm through that link.
When deletion is confirmed, account access is blocked immediately and your posts and comments are hidden from public listings. Your email address may be retained in a transformed form for audit, duplicate-account prevention, and lawful investigation support.
For 7 days after deletion confirmation, you may contact us to request manual recovery of your account and hidden content. After 7 days, personally identifying information and user-generated content metadata, including your name, phone number, profile photo, password hash, post body, comment body, writer name, IP address, email, and device identifiers, may be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
If you have an active domain, hosting, or other paid subscription, account deletion may be blocked until the active subscription is cancelled or otherwise resolved through the billing management page.
If you used Sign in with Apple, we attempt to revoke the Apple sign-in token when account deletion is confirmed. If automatic revocation is not available, we will provide manual instructions by email.
Some data may be retained for dispute resolution, safety, fraud prevention, and legal compliance, including messages and conversation records, reports and reported content, billing records, and transformed email addresses. Billing records may be retained for up to 5 years where required by applicable commerce and tax laws.
